In continuation of my despatch No .392 of the
14th December, I have the honour to request that the Crown
Agents for the Colonies may be asked to pay to the widow of the late Inspector McHardy pension at the rate of £51.158.6d. per annum (8345.16 at 3/- to the dollar), and to provide lire. McHardy and her three children with railway fares from London
to Edinburgh.

I enclose a form giving the ages of her child-
Mrs. McHardy who proceeded on the 18th December
to England on the S.S. "Malta" gave as her address c/o Mrs. Wm. Stirton, Spittalfield, Murthly, Perthshire, Scotland.
